The Things We Leave Behind

It started with a series of deconstructed video game controllers, objects people had spent thousands of hours holding. The series travelled around the world and was exhibited online and in galleries. Later, I realized I had been circling the same idea: the things we keep, the things we use, the memories they create, and the things we leave behind. My father’s set of hockey coins he collected, memories from our childhood, a wasp’s nest. I’m interested in what outlasts us, and what the things we keep, or choose to let go of, say about who we are. Here are a few series I've been working on.
